Analytical Determination of the Optimal Temperature Profiles for the Reactions with Parallel Deactivation of Enzyme Encapsulated Inside Microorganisms Cells

I. Grubecki

Abstract
A batch biotransformation process running in the presence of microorganisms cells revealing a specified enzyme activity has been considered. The parallel deactivation of enzyme has been taken into account. An analytical solution determining the process course under isothermal conditions and at an optimal temperature profile has been presented. The advantages resulting from the application of the optimal temperature profile with respect to the isothermal conditions in terms of the duration time of the process have been assessed. The presence of the cell membrane has also been taken into account.
